Why We Built a Table in the Wilderness
It started with a hunger we couldn't explain.
Not a hunger for a better conference. Not a hunger for a bigger platform. A hunger for the thing itself — the raw, unfiltered, unmanaged presence of God in a room full of people who had stopped pretending they were okay with less.
That hunger led us to a barn.
Why a Barn?
A barn strips away pretense.
There is no green room. No stage lighting designed to make you look more anointed than you are. No production budget to hide behind. Just wood and fire and the sound of people who came because they were hungry — not because the event looked impressive on Instagram.
Jesus was born in a barn. The early church met in homes. The great revivals of history broke out in fields and warehouses and places that had no business hosting the glory of God.
That is not a coincidence.
The Three Pillars
When we began to build Tabernacle & Table, we asked one question: What does a hungry worshiper actually need?
The answer came in three parts.
Unhindered Worship. Not a set. Not a performance. A space where the Spirit can move without a clock on the wall. Where the sound that has been locked inside you can finally come out. Where you can be a landing strip for God instead of an audience for man.
The Table. Something happens when people break bread together that cannot happen any other way. Jesus knew this. He kept coming back to the table — at the Last Supper, at Emmaus, on the shore of Galilee. The table is where the veil gets thin.
The Word. Not a motivational talk. Not a polished sermon designed to make you feel good about yourself. Spirit-led teaching that ignites — that gives you language for what God is doing in your life and sends you home with more fire than you came with.
Who This Is For
This is not for everyone.
It is for the worshiper who has been longing for more. More of His presence. More freedom. More fire. It is for the intercessor who has been carrying a sound that hasn't been fully released yet. It is for the burning one who is tired of being the only person in the room who actually believes the baptism of Holy Fire is available right now.
